MichiganLabs was hired by The Race Director to create a mobile solution to support the Fifth Third River Bank Run.  The mobile solution allows users to view race times, splits, and access their information in real-time.  Check out your results here for the 5k and here for the 25k.

Radiometer America Inc., a global provider of health care solutions.

MichiganLabs was hired by A.M. Design Group to assist with creating an enterprise iPad App for Radiometer. The App will be used for on-demand training of sales representatives before important meetings. The Out & About App powered by GRnow.com

MichiganLabs was hired to create an iOS app for Out & About, a local startup in Grand Rapids powered by GRnow.com.  The App allows users to create their own evening experience by selecting both where to eat and what to do.  The App features local ratings and ideas to help people find the perfect night out.  Stay tuned for more details as the App releases soon in Grand Rapids.

The River Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan

MichiganLabs was hired to create an iPhone App for a church in Kalamazoo.  The App streams iTunes podcasts, shows PDF content, a reading plan, and shares blog and social media content.  The App was developed for iPhone 5 as well as iPhone 4.

 

The Race Director and Bermuda Timing Systems

MichiganLabs was hired to create an iPhone, Blackberry, and Android App to help 5k, 10k, marathon, and triathlon racers find their completion times using their mobile device.  The mobile website and Apps will be used by nearly 1 million racers next year at races throughout the world.

Aquinas College

MichiganLabs was hired to create an iPhone and Android App for Aquinas College. The App is designed for alumni to attend the Aquinas Homecoming celebration in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The AQ Alumni Team decided to “go green” this year and have Homecoming be a “Zero Waste Event”. The App allows users to view the schedule, maps, photos, and stay connected through Twitter, Facebook and FourSquare.  MichiganLabs was selected due to being a local West Michigan iPhone and Android App development company.  Here is the link to the Grand Rapids Press Article in MLive.

WaYfm 88.3 and 89.9 FM iPhone App

Description: MichiganLabs developed the WaYfm iPhone App for a radio station in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The App is so cool it deserves to be in the white iPhone 4s.  Stay tuned for the Android version coming soon.  Download it here.

Paddling.net and SealLine®

Description: MichiganLabs was hired to create an Android App for users to find drop-in sites for Kayaking and Canoeing. The App is loaded with over 17,000 entry points for kayaking, canoeing, and stand up paddling, Launch Sites provides an easy way to find a great place to paddle nearly anywhere.  Download the App from the Google PlayStore by selecting the screenshot below.

A.M. Design Group

Description: A.M. Design Group hired MichiganLabs to develop an Android and iPhone App.  The App, which was designed by A.M. Design Group, allows industry technicians to find key information about residential and commercial burners right on their smartphone device.  Users can also view information about sales, training, and technical support including searching for documentation regarding parts, burners, and commercial products.  The App includes calculators for users to calculate fuel oil, LP, and natural gas savings.  Overall, the App will serve each customer and employee better by bringing a new convenience and efficiency into the palm of their hand.

State of Michigan

Description: MichiganLabs was contacted by the State of Michigan to create a proof of concept for an iPhone and Android App to assist in providing seasonal and migrant farmworkers with access to agencies and resources in Michigan. Each year, seasonal farmworkers visit Michigan and support local farmers. By providing access to resources and agencies using GPS, it will ensure resources are not underutilized or unfound. Description: MichiganLabs created an iPhone and Android App for a top West Michigan based sales training organization: Sales Octane.  The “Shot of Octane” App shares videos and information about how to increase sales.  Download the Sales Octane Shot of Octane App from the App Store or Android Market.

The Rivalry App

Description: ESPN ranked the Hope College vs. Calvin College Rivalry as one of the top-5 rivalries of all time.  MichiganLabs developed an App to allow fans to connect with others and find a place around the world to watch the Men’s basketball games.  The App also allows fans to watch the game LIVE right on their smartphone device.  Download the iPhone App here.

County Finder

Description: MichiganLabs created an iPhone App for a local company which shows a user which county they are in using GPS.  County Finder is a navigation app for the iPhone and iPhone Touch. Itʼs the only app that provides a simple and direct method for locating what county you are in now.  The Counter Finder App displays the county you are in now. County Finder shows you what county, what time, what state, and your GPS coordinates. If you would like more information about the county, you can click a button and it will take you to a page which has more county information.

FoodCircles and Kids' Food Basket

Description: MichiganLabs was contacted by FoodCircles, a local startup, to develop an App which would allow users to find a local restaurant with discounts and by eating out they would donate a meal to Kids’ Food Basket or World Vision.  The concept was called “Buy One, Feed One” and the team at MichiganLabs donated time to develop the App.   The App will be used to help people find a place to eat while also donating a meal to feed children in need locally and around the world.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College iPad App

Description: MichiganLabs developed a custom iPad App for Kalamazoo Valley Community College to connect with High School students in the West Michigan area. The App was installed on iPad 2 devices and taken along to meetings with High School students. The App provided students with the ability to watch videos, request more information, and even record their own story about attending college. The App also included a Social Media integration. WCSG 91.3 FM

Description: MichiganLabs developed the iPhone and Android App for WCSG.  With more than 100,000 listeners each week, WCSG serves the West Michigan area with music and programming.  Designed to give users access to News & Weather updates on the go, the App also helps users stay in touch with the radio station through Facebook and current business partners.

Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce

Description:  MichiganLabs developed an App for Allendale Area Chamber of Commerce (AACC) to promote local businesses.  The App was built for iPhones, Android, and Blackberry devices.  The overall intent of the App was to help mobile users search the directory of AACC members and find local discounts.  Since launch, it has received 500+ downloads across the 3 platforms and is becoming a popular way for AACC to promote local businesses and events.
